If All Else Fails, Try God
Rafael Hui Si Yan may be calling on God to show him mercy, but it's the Hong Kong courts of justice that will be determing his future, and, given his "colourful" background in and out of government, judicial as well as popular opinion might just decide that in his case the quality of mercy has been strained too far already.
The Hong Kong Government might even decide to change the rules concerning former civil sevants and principal officers taking up plum jobs in the private sector after retirement (or "retirements" in the case of our Rafa), but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves, shall we?
